Why is software architecture important to a car wash owner or manager?
For the most part, people are only really concerned about software function, but the foundation / underlying design also matters. Most carwashes don’t have the time or IT resources available to install and manage a computer software solution, and this is where Software as a Service (SaaS) comes in.
SaaS is a model in which software is licensed on a subscription basis, and it is hosted off-site by the provider. Sometimes SaaS is referred to as “on-demand software”. As a manager or owner, you can access the PM / operational checklist information from any of your other car wash locations, from home, or while traveling (essentially anywhere you have access to the Internet).
